Bob Ventura has 20 years of experience in corporate development, acquisitions, divestitures, business valuation, financial modeling, and investment banking. Prior to forming Ventura Group, he served as Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis with Rockwell International Corporation. He has acted as lead advisor and negotiator in completed acquisitions and divestitures of approximately $350 million. These transactions have ranged from $1 million to over $1 billion in the United States and internationally and have included manufacturing and high technology businesses.

A native of Pittsburgh, he received a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Duquesne University. Bob completed specialized merger and acquisition courses at Northwestern University and the University of Virginia.

Bob is a Board of Director of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation (NYSE: FCF) and serves on its Audit Committee. From 1998 to 2004, Bob served on the Board of Directors of GA Financial, Inc. (AMEX:GAF) and was Chairman of its Audit Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, the National Aviary in Pittsburgh, and Chartiers Country Club.
